ART: How an Artist Can Evolve - Travis Charest

A lot of artists evolve over time, but I don't I've witnessed an artist do it as drastically and quickly as Travis Charest and doing it made him a superstar. That complete overhaul has always inspired me. So, this is the same artist for the same company just a few years after.

MOVIES: Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011) - How'd I miss this??

How is it possible that I'd never heard of this movie before last weekend? WETA is doing the vfx which is awesome! I like James Franco a lot. And I like that they're adding to the story. Hope it's good! What do you think?

Currently Reading/Listening to: Stephen King's "Full Dark, No Stars"

Just finished the 1st of 4 stories, "1922" it was great! Eerie. Almost felt like Modern Poe! Great voice actors (A man and a woman). Starting the second story now.

I'll add some more thoughts as I make my way through it.

Oh, and see my previous post to see a picture of me standing in front of Stephen King's House in Bangor Maine. That was pretty stalker-ish, but also very cool to me. Makes him more human to me, which means if he could do it, I could make something of my writing, too! (So could YOU!)

Have a great day!

Awesome New CONAN Trailer!

Conan was an early inspiration for me, having picked up a few of the novels (Because of the Frank Frazetta covers, of course!) and my first fully developed longer short story (40 pages or so) was very much a Conan rip off!

Looks so awesome!
